Position Overview
ImpactHER is seeking a dynamic and innovative E-Commerce Specialist to lead its digital commerce initiatives. This role is perfect for professionals passionate about helping African women harness the power of digital markets to grow their businesses and create social impact.
The E-Commerce Specialist will guide female entrepreneurs in setting up online stores, managing digital marketing campaigns, and connecting to regional and international e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, Jumia, Etsy, and WooCommerce.
This position is remote, offering flexible work from anywhere in Nigeria or West Africa while contributing to a mission that transforms communities through entrepreneurship.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute e-commerce growth strategies for entrepreneurs in ImpactHER programs.
- Provide hands-on support to women business owners to launch, optimize, and scale their online stores.
- Conduct training workshops on e-commerce management, SEO, digital branding, and marketplace sales.
- Analyze business performance and provide data-driven insights to improve online sales and customer retention.
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with logistics, payment solutions, and e-commerce platforms.
- Collaborate with internal teams to promote digital transformation initiatives within ImpactHER’s network.
- Track, report, and present key metrics that measure program impact, growth, and sustainability.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, ICT, or related field.
- 3–5 years of solid experience in e-commerce management, digital marketing, or online sales operations.
- Strong understanding of SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, and social media advertising tools.
- Practical experience managing or supporting Shopify, WooCommerce, Jumia, or Amazon stores.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
Desirable:
- Experience in training entrepreneurs or leading capacity-building programs.
- Knowledge of payment integrations, logistics coordination, and cross-border trade systems.
- Passion for women’s empowerment, inclusive innovation, and sustainable development.
