Role Overview – Construction Procurement Intern
As a Construction Procurement Intern, you will work closely with the Senior Specialist & Electrical Engineer to support procurement systems, contract documentation, and supplier coordination. You’ll gain practical experience and exposure to engineering procurement, logistics, compliance, and project tracking.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Supplier Coordination
- Assist in preparing RFQs, bid analyses, and supplier comparisons.
- Communicate with suppliers to collect quotations and resolve technical issues.
- Support importation coordination and logistics processes.
Contract Documentation
- Help draft, review, and update supplier contracts.
- Ensure contracts comply with OAF/RICA procurement policies and FIDIC principles.
Data & Reporting
- Maintain procurement trackers (timelines, quotes, delivery statuses).
- Prepare periodic sourcing updates for leadership.
- Assist in developing digital tools for contract monitoring.
Qualifications & Skills Required
You must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field
