Role Overview – Construction Procurement Intern

As a Construction Procurement Intern, you will work closely with the Senior Specialist & Electrical Engineer to support procurement systems, contract documentation, and supplier coordination. You’ll gain practical experience and exposure to engineering procurement, logistics, compliance, and project tracking.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Supplier Coordination

  • Assist in preparing RFQs, bid analyses, and supplier comparisons.
  • Communicate with suppliers to collect quotations and resolve technical issues.
  • Support importation coordination and logistics processes.

Contract Documentation

  • Help draft, review, and update supplier contracts.
  • Ensure contracts comply with OAF/RICA procurement policies and FIDIC principles.

Data & Reporting

  • Maintain procurement trackers (timelines, quotes, delivery statuses).
  • Prepare periodic sourcing updates for leadership.
  • Assist in developing digital tools for contract monitoring.

Qualifications & Skills Required
