Job Overview
The Accountability & Inclusion Officer will be stationed in Michika LGA, working closely with the Programme Coordinator and other field teams to strengthen CWI’s accountability framework. You’ll ensure that feedback and complaints mechanisms are effective, confidential, and aligned with Humanitarian Accountability Partnership (HAP) standards.
Your work will directly impact how beneficiaries’ voices are heard and how CWI continuously improves its programs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accountability & Complaints Management
- Set up and manage a transparent Complaints and Feedback Mechanism (CFM) across project sites.
- Ensure that complaints are logged, tracked, and addressed promptly.
- Produce periodic analytical reports from feedback data to strengthen program design.
2. Project Support & Data Management
- Integrate accountability standards across the full project cycle — from design to evaluation.
- Maintain and update the CFM database and ensure all entries are accurate and confidential.
- Analyse complaint trends and provide recommendations for improvement.
3. Capacity Building & Staff Support
- Train staff and community focal persons on complaint-handling procedures.
- Promote protection, gender inclusion, and prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA).
- Mentor staff to implement strong accountability practices at all project levels.
4. Reporting & Communication
- Generate regular accountability reports for internal and donor sharing.
- Facilitate feedback sessions and ensure all community members are aware of their rights.
- Collaborate with MEAL and program teams to implement continuous improvement plans.

Education |
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, Information Management, or related field. |

Experience |
3–5 years in humanitarian or NGO settings, preferably with INGOs. Experience implementing CFMs in nutrition or health projects is an advantage. |

Skills |
Excellent data management, analytical and communication skills; proficiency in MS Office, SPSS, or Power BI. |

Languages |
Fluency in English and Hausa (spoken and written). |
