v What You’ll Do (Sample Responsibilities)
Depending on the role, your responsibilities may include:
Information Management Officer
- Designing and managing data systems.
- Supporting humanitarian needs assessments and analysis.
- Developing training for partners (online & in-person).
- Creating dashboards, maps, and reports with tools like QGIS, ArcGIS Pro, Power BI, Tableau, or Adobe Creative Cloud.
Data Analyst
- Developing robust data collection methodologies.
- Cleaning, triangulating, and analyzing datasets.
- Using tools like Excel, R, Python, or SPSS to generate insights.
Data Visualization Expert
- Turning complex datasets into intuitive dashboards and infographics.
- Designing visual elements that follow 3iS brand standards.
- Supporting intuitive UI design for platforms and chatbots.
GIS Specialist
- Formatting and geo-referencing datasets.
- Conducting spatial analysis and remote sensing.
- Integrating semantic GIS into humanitarian projects.
MEAL Expert
- Developing theories of change, monitoring frameworks, and evaluation plans.
- Collecting and analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data.
- Ensuring accountability to beneficiaries through evidence-based project adjustments.
AI Specialist
- Designing and deploying AI-powered chatbots and assistants.
- Optimizing Large Language Models (LLMs) for unstructured data.
- Building predictive algorithms and ML models.
Developer
- Designing and coding web applications, including AI-driven tools.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting software solutions.
- Preparing clear technical documentation for users and future teams.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in the relevant field, preferably in humanitarian/development contexts.
- Languages: English required; additional languages are highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong communication, data analysis, critical thinking, adaptability, and technical expertise in relevant software.
