Job Overview
ASA International (Rwanda) Plc is hiring an Executive & Administrative Assistant to support the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This is a full-time, open-ended contract based in Kigali, starting 10 October 2025.

ASA Rwanda, licensed by the National Bank of Rwanda, is part of ASA International, one of the world’s largest microfinance institutions listed on the London Stock Exchange. With 37 branches across Rwanda, the company provides financial services to low-income entrepreneurs, empowering small businesses and improving livelihoods.

Role Summary
The Executive & Administrative Assistant will provide high-level administrative and strategic support to the CEO. This role requires strong organizational skills, discretion, and excellent communication to manage priorities, sensitive information, and stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the CEO’s calendar, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Draft, review, and edit reports, presentations, and official documents.
  • Record minutes, track action items, and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Screen and respond to calls, emails, and inquiries on behalf of the CEO.
  • Organize workshops, board meetings, and company events.
  • Maintain filing systems and coordinate internal communications.
  • Liaise with staff, partners, and stakeholders on organizational matters.
  • Support research, partnerships, and fundraising activities as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Communication, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 3–5 years’ experience in executive-level support, preferably in finance or microfinance.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication in English and local language.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools.
  • High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
