NBS Agriculture is seeking a dedicated Cropping Farmhand to join its
14,000ha mixed farming enterprise in the Lachlan Valley, just 20 minutes
southwest of Forbes, NSW. This full-time role offers hands-on involvement in
all aspects of cropping, including planting, cultivating, irrigating, and

Role Responsibilities
As a Cropping Farmhand, you will support the Farm Manager in day-to-day operations, including:
- Planting, cultivating, irrigating, and harvesting crops
- Operating and maintaining farm machinery and irrigation systems
- Performing routine repairs and maintenance on equipment and infrastructure
- Applying fertilisers, pesticides, and herbicides as required
- Assisting with irrigation and water management
- Ensuring safety standards and accurate record-keeping
- Supporting general farm maintenance as needed
About You
- Previous farmhand or cropping experience is preferred but not essential
- Ability to operate and maintain farm machinery
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying conditions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Valid Australian driver’s licence
