Role Responsibilities
As a Cropping Farmhand, you will work closely with the Farm Manager and wider operations team to support the efficient running of daily cropping activities. Your responsibilities will cover a wide range of practical farming tasks and contribute directly to crop productivity and farm success.
Key duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with planting, cultivating, irrigating, and harvesting crops in line with seasonal schedules
- Operating and maintaining a variety of farm machinery and equipment, including tractors, seeders, sprayers, and harvesters
- Supporting the setup, monitoring, and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure efficient water use
- Performing routine repairs and maintenance on machinery, tools, fences, and farm infrastructure
- Applying fertilisers, pesticides, and herbicides safely and accurately in accordance with guidelines
- Assisting with water management, including monitoring soil moisture and irrigation efficiency
- Maintaining accurate records related to cropping activities, machinery use, and chemical applications
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Supporting general farm duties and maintenance tasks as required

About You
