About the Role
The Operational Head will provide strategic leadership, operational management, and program oversight across HIND’s projects in Lagos and Ogun States.
This is a high-impact role requiring a visionary leader who can coordinate diverse programs, engage stakeholders, and ensure effective community interventions.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Management
- Provide operational oversight for all HIND programs across Lagos and Ogun States
- Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of projects including:
- Women empowerment initiatives
- Youth leadership programs
- Menstrual hygiene campaigns
- The International Award scheme
- Supervise program officers, volunteers, and interns ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Monitor program impact through data-driven reporting and continuous improvement
2. Program Implementation
- Oversee logistics, budgeting, and field operations for community and school-based projects
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and donor/partner expectations
- Coordinate Adventurous Journey camps and leadership retreats including:
- Risk assessments
- Safety protocols
- Logistics management
- Manage the Online Record Book (ORB) platform for the International Award Program
3. Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with:
- School administrators
- Government ministries
- Community leaders
- Strategic partners
- Represent HIND in official International Award activities and training sessions
- Coordinate advocacy and collaborative projects with agencies such as:
- Ministry of Women Affairs
- Ministry of Education
- Women and Youth Development Associations (WAPA)
4. Communications & Reporting
- Provide monthly progress reports to the Founder/Executive Director
- Draft proposals, letters, and official communications
- Oversee media coverage, branding, and documentation of organizational activities
5. Volunteer Management & Team Building
- Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for outreach and field operations
- Conduct debriefings and foster a motivated, high-performing team culture
