This role is a 2‑year fixed‑term position based in Kigali, Rwanda. The Investment Operations Senior Specialist will oversee fund administration, governance, compliance, and investor reporting to support One Acre Fund’s mission of empowering 1M+ farmers across East Africa.

Role Overview
One Acre Fund is seeking a proactive finance professional to strengthen the operational backbone of its impact investment arm, One Acre Ventures. The role involves leading fund administration, governance, and compliance processes to scale investments that benefit 1M+ farmers across East Africa.
This position is ideal for a process‑driven, detail‑oriented finance leader who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about impact.
Key Responsibilities
Fund Operations & Provider Management- Oversee daily fund operations, reconciliations, and investor reporting.
- Manage relationships with auditors, accountants, and legal advisors.
- Coordinate capital calls, distributions, and compliance (KYC/AML).
- Prepare investor updates, reports, and fundraising materials.
- Maintain investor data rooms and ensure timely information sharing.
- Organize Board and Investment Committee meetings.
- Ensure compliance with governance calendars and regulatory filings.
- Improve workflows, templates, and reporting systems.
- Track fund cash flows, loan disbursements, and portfolio metrics.
- Monitor regulatory compliance and maintain secure documentation.
- Act as liaison with parent organization on legal and operational matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in fund administration, investment operations, or financial services.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Experience with financial data accuracy and workflow improvements.
- Fluency in English required.
