JOB SUMMARY

Save the Children is seeking a highly experienced legal and public health consultant to lead a comprehensive review of the Lagos State Vaccination Law. The assignment focuses on identifying statutory gaps, strengthening legal frameworks, and aligning state immunization policies with national and international standards.

This consultancy plays a central role in reinforcing legal structures that protect children’s health outcomes across Lagos State. The consultant will conduct legal analysis, facilitate stakeholder consultations, and produce a revised draft law supported by policy briefs and legislative justification documents.

The engagement spans approximately 30 working days and requires strong expertise in public health law, legislative drafting, and immunization governance systems in Nigeria.

This is a contract-based consultancy based fully in Lagos State.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • First degree in Health-related field
  • Master’s in Public Health (advantage)

Professional Experience

  • Experience within Nigeria’s health sector (Lagos preferred)
  • Proven engagement with ministries of justice and legislative bodies
