Role Purpose
As a Volunteer M&E Officer, you will play a vital role in tracking, assessing, and improving the impact of LYDAF’s projects. You will help ensure that data-driven insights guide decision-making, strengthen accountability, and demonstrate the value of our programs to stakeholders and communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks for programs.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret project data to measure progress and outcomes.
- Prepare clear reports for internal use and donor presentations.
- Support program teams with data-driven decision-making.
- Contribute to learning activities by documenting success stories and lessons learned.
- Ensure ethical data collection practices and confidentiality.
Qualifications & Skills
- A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) in Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
- Familiarity with M&E tools and frameworks.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Passion for community development and youth empowerment.
Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience in NGOs or donor-funded projects.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, SPSS, etc.).
- Strong communication and storytelling ability.
