-Key Responsibilities

As a Home Child Care Provider, you’ll create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. Your daily duties will include:

  • Supervising and caring for children at the employer’s home
  • Supporting the emotional well-being and social development of children
  • Bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and young children
  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals
  • Organizing fun, educational games and outdoor activities
  • Assisting with homework and personal hygiene routines
  • Performing light housekeeping and laundry
  • Maintaining records of daily activities and children’s health information

Note: Optional live-in accommodation is available at no cost, but it’s not a condition of employment.

-Qualifications & Skills

Education:

  •  No formal degree or diploma required

Experience:

  •  Experience working with children is an asset

-Certificates (Preferred):

  •  CPR Certification
  • First Aid Certification

-Personal Qualities:

  •  Responsible, patient, and trustworthy
  • Flexible and reliable
  • Excellent time management and organization
